Helping students build electronics that sense and connect.

Spring 2018

Electronics for IoT

Electronics has become pervasive in our lives as a powerful technology with applications across healthcare, home automation, environmental monitoring, robotics, and entertainment. This course teaches how to build electronic circuits that interact with the physical world through sensors and actuators, and communicate wirelessly with the internet to cooperate with other devices and with humans.

In the laboratory, participants design and build representative systems such as an autonomous solar weather station and robots that exchange information with — and are controlled from — the cloud.
